The Occasional Writer.

I originally went to school to become a writer, but I switched to design three years in. It was the right call, but it led to a case of split creative personality—am I designer that writes, or a writer that designs? The answer is yes. Fortunately, the two sides of my creative brain seem to get along. Most days, anyway.

Welcome to The Stacks, a collection of work coming from the Write side of my brain.

“Crafted with class and humor…”
“A delight to read, to reminisce, to laugh!””
“Another gem…”

The Studio Times.

The Studio Times is a cracked bimonthly dose of nostalgia and unasked-for takes on Life. No shameless promotion or ulterior motives—just a little something to take your mind off work for a few minutes.

Field Notes.

Thoughts on life and design and design life, observations from a career spent, for the most part, lost in the weeds.

The Memoirs of a Suburban Brat.

Memories of growing up a spoiled suburban brat in the 70s and 80s. Nerf football, Wacky Packages, Schwinn Stingrays, kick-the-can, cranky neighbors, and tuna casserole every Monday night.
